questions

How will I receive my images?
You will receive your photos in your email, via a link to an online gallery!
What should I wear for my shoot?
I got you! As soon as you book with me, I'll send you some outfit tips that goes through any questions you may have about what to wear!
What happens if the weather is bad?
I'd probably say let's do the session and embrace the crazy, because weather can always make for some epic photos! But, if weather is too severe or you would prefer otherwise, we will absolutely reschedule.
What happens if I have to cancel?
If you have already booked a session with me and for some reason have to cancel, the deposit will be non-refundable. If we reschedule, the deposit will be applied to that session. Please understand that I am in no way trying to steal your money, but rather I have most likely rejected a session for that same date also.
Where are you based out of and do you travel?
I'm based out of Kansas, but I LOVE to travel!! Take me anywhere!!
Do you offer discounts?
I do not offer discounts in order to remain fair, unless I am running a special booking discount on social media.
Do you give out raw (unedited) images?
I do not. The only reason for this is because it's half of my craft. It would be like an artist giving you a painting only halfway done. I promise to deliver all of the photos that you will love! If you think for some reason I have missed something, just ask!
How do you accept payments?
I use a client management software where I collect all forms of payment! Cash, cards, check, etc..
Will you photoshop us?
I will not! I am all about the authentic and raw you! I capture the real stuff, the messy and the imperfect! However, if requested, I will touch up acne, bruising, shadows, etc...
Do you do videography as well?
I do actually offer videography services, but they would have to be separate at the moment (i.e. no wedding photo + wedding video, one or the other). I can refer you to some pretty awesome videographers though if you are looking for both!

Alex is absolutely incredible. He did both our wedding video and our birth announcement photos. Alex makes the entire process feel so natural, easy, and fun. Not only was he our photographer, but he was also quick to lend a hand with helping us control our dog during the photoshoot without even thinking twice. He is a great person with an amazing gift, and we couldn’t be happier with how our photos turned out!
